Next Up: bad news!

I really dislike waking up to the news.  Every time I do it's the same thing: bad news, bad news, irrelevant news, bad news, irrelevant news, bad news.  Not the healthiest way to start your day!

I dig Maya:

Man I like working with Maya!  Check my 3D pics to the right.  I really like modeling.  I really like it.  I like texturing models and I like lighting them.  Rigging and animation are good, but I really like modeling more than anything else.  

You work out the basic features of a model and then you just refine, refine, refine.  Pretty soon you have a model that looks good.  These days it's like working in clay.  Pushing and pulling verticies in smoothed view.  Watching the curves develop.  A lot of time spent on making sure what's supposed to be smooth, is smooth.

Pretty sweet stuff.
